Types of Enrolment
 
Enrolment in higher education is regulated by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, which exists within the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In Italy, there are three cycles of study: first cycle means undergraduate degree, second cycle means masters degree, and third cycle means PhD or equivalent degree. There are different types of applications in each of these three cycles. There are also different processes depending on whether or not you live in the European Union.
 
How to Apply
 
EU Nationals
Students that are nationals in countries belonging to the European Union should apply directly to the University and will be considered in the same way the University considers Italian students.
 
Non-EU Nationals
Students that live outside of the European Union have different process. If you live outside of the European Union, you will be required to apply through your country’s Italian Embassy or Consulate.
